Well friends, do you have a best friend, that isn’t  a bi-ped? Do you have someone prancing around your house, or backyard, that really just needs to socialize and have a good ol’ time with other furry friends? We have a couple things for you, if that is in fact the case. First, come on down Saturday to Wells Park, and mix and mingle with other pooches. We will have the Animal Humane Association on-site, signing folks up for Doggie Dash and Dawdle. There will be music for folks to listen to, and cold beer on tap, of course!
Faith in Foxholes will take the stage at 2pm; surrounding that there will be prize giveaways, art contest winner announcements, and we will have “Moby” Animal Humane’s mobile adoption unit, live, large, and in charge, in our parking lot. So you know what that means, don’t you? You don’t even have to bring your best friend on down, you can come make another and take him or her home, when this day is all said and done!
The weather will hold up, and by the end of the day, many folks will be holding new and cuddly pets. We will help you with the names: Stout, Lager, Ale, they all fit for those that are covered in fur, or at least we like to think so.
If you want to just soak up some Saturday sun, and not necessarily get a new housemate, but you want some yummy grub… we gotcha’ covered there too! Kimo’s Hawaiian BBQ will be in our lot ALL DAY, serving up some tasty treats, straight off the truck. Kimo is a crowd favorite, with his flavor bursting offerings ~ skip the dinner plans, and ditch the grocery list, come and have some BBQ instead!
